Refund Policy

This page explains when you get your money back. It matches the refund section of the terms of service. The current price is shown in the pricing section of our home page and again before checkout.

What you pay for

You pay once for one song: the full song costs $24.99, as a one-time payment, with no subscription and nothing that renews. Payments are taken through our merchant of record (Waffo Pancake or Creem, as shown at checkout), which acts as the reseller and handles tax and invoicing; its buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Hear it before you pay

Every song starts with a free 60-second preview. If you don't like the preview, don't buy: there is nothing to pay and nothing to cancel.

Love it, or we make it right: the 30-day guarantee

If you are not happy with your song, tell us within 30 days of payment.

1. First, we try to make it right. Your purchase includes 2 full re-records and free name and pronunciation fixes (up to 5 per order in any 24-hour period), and a person will help with anything else.
2. If it still isn't right, you get a full refund. Write to us within the same 30 days and tell us what is wrong.

On time for their day, or your money back

Your full song is delivered within 60 minutes of payment. If you gave us the date of the occasion when you ordered, and the full song is not delivered within the 60 minutes we promised and you miss that date, you get a full refund. Use the refund button on your order page or email us; we do not ask for a reason.

Charged twice

If you are charged twice for the same song, we refund the second payment in full.

If we can't deliver

If we are unable to deliver the full song you paid for, we refund you in full.

What happens after a refund

A refund is for the full amount you paid and goes back through the original payment method. Once an order is refunded, its song page, its gift page and the download on our site stop working. An MP3 you downloaded before the refund stays on your device.

Your statutory rights

If consumer law where you live gives you a right of withdrawal, for example the 14-day right in the EU and the UK, nothing on this page limits it. Your song is digital content made for you. Where the law allows, the right of withdrawal ends once delivery of the full song has begun, provided you asked us at checkout to start straight away and acknowledged that you would lose the right; if you did not, the right of withdrawal applies in full. The guarantee and the on-time promise above apply in addition to your statutory rights.

How to ask for a refund

Use Need help? on your order page, or email support@personalizedsong.org from the address you ordered with and include the order number from your receipt. A person replies within 24 hours. Refunds are issued through our merchant of record to the original payment method; depending on your bank, they can take several business days to appear.

Chargebacks

Please write to us first. We would rather fix a problem than have you dispute the charge, and we answer refund requests quickly.
