Terms of Service

These terms apply to everyone who uses personalizedsong.org. By asking for a free preview, buying a song, setting up a gift, or signing in, you agree to them.

Who we are

PersonalizedSong (personalizedsong.org) is an independently operated online service that turns the story you tell into AI-written lyrics and a complete custom song. "We", "us" and "PersonalizedSong" mean the operator of personalizedsong.org.

PersonalizedSong is an independent service. Songs are created with AI and are not performed by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any artist or record label.

Two mailboxes are monitored, and a person reads both of them:

• support@personalizedsong.org — support, billing, refunds, cancellation, privacy questions, data requests, and reports of content that breaks our rules.
• legal@personalizedsong.org — legal notices, security reports, and copyright and trademark complaints.

What the service is

PersonalizedSong makes one personalized song at a time, as a gift. You answer a few questions about the person the song is for, read and edit the lyrics we write from your answers, and listen to a free 60-second preview of the finished song. If you want the full song, you buy it with a one-time payment. We deliver it within 60 minutes, with an MP3 download and a private gift page you can share or schedule.

PersonalizedSong is a digital service delivered over the internet. Nothing is shipped to you and there is nothing to install.

Songs are AI-generated. A song may sound imperfect, resemble other music, or not be what you imagined, which is why you hear the preview before you pay and why re-records are included. We may change, add or discontinue features, with reasonable notice where that is possible. A change never takes away something you already paid for.

AI models we use

PersonalizedSong is built on third-party AI models and services. These are the models and providers we use today:

• Lyrics: DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (deepseek-v4.1-flash) by DeepSeek, accessed through OpenRouter.
• Music and vocals: MiniMax Music 2.6 (fal-ai/minimax-music/v2.6) by MiniMax, run on fal.ai.
• Music and vocals, fallback: Mureka (mureka-9.5) by Mureka, run on fal.ai, used only when the main music model fails for an order.
• Prompt screening: Waffo Prompt Sift, an automated content-safety check on the text you write.
• Photo screening: fal.ai's image safety check (fal-ai/imageutils/nsfw), run on a photo you add to a gift page.

We may change providers; this list is kept current.

The model providers receive the story, lyrics and settings a step needs, and process them. That processing may take place outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Payments are handled by our merchant of record (Waffo Pancake or Creem, as shown at checkout), files are stored on Cloudflare R2, and transactional email is sent through Resend. See the privacy policy for what each of them receives.

The text you write passes our blocked-terms list and the content-safety check above, as described in the content policy. Prompt Sift does not generate anything; it only decides whether something is allowed.

When we switch to another model or provider, we update this list before the change goes live. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of the model providers; their names and trademarks belong to them.

Who may use PersonalizedSong

• 13 and over. You may use PersonalizedSong if you are at least 13 years old.
• Under 13. PersonalizedSong is not directed at children under 13. A child under 13 may only use PersonalizedSong with the verifiable consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who must give their own email address and who is responsible for the child's use of it. If we learn that an order belongs to a child under 13 and was made without that consent, we delete its data (see the privacy policy).
• Purchases. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian make the purchase, to buy a song.
• If the age of digital consent where you live is higher than 13, that age applies instead.

Your email and your account

There is no sign-up form and no password. When you give us your email address to get your free preview, we create an account for that address so we can keep your songs together. You sign in to My songs with a one-time sign-in link we email you; if we offer sign-in with Google, you can use that instead. Each order also has its own private link, which works on any device.

Keep your email account and your private links to yourself: anyone who has them can open your order. Tell us at support@personalizedsong.org as soon as you notice unauthorized use.

The free preview

• One free preview per email address. We normalise addresses before checking (for example, we ignore +tags), and we also limit free previews per device and per network each day to stop abuse.
• Before the preview, you can edit any line of the lyrics as often as you like and have them rewritten from scratch up to 2 times.
• The preview is the first 60 seconds of your song, played in your browser. The full recording is not sent to your device until you buy it.
• When demand is high, a free preview may wait in a queue; we email you when it is ready.
• The free preview costs nothing and creates no obligation to buy.

Price and payment

The full song costs $24.99, as a one-time payment. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and there are no credits or add-ons. The price is shown in the pricing section of our home page and again before checkout.

Your purchase includes:

• the full song (about two and a half minutes), delivered within 60 minutes of payment;
• an MP3 download and a permanent page for your song;
• a private gift page you can share now, schedule, or keep as a private link;
• 2 full re-records, and free name and pronunciation fixes;
• the 30-day guarantee and the on-time promise in the refund policy.

How payment is taken

Payments are processed by our merchant of record (Waffo Pancake or Creem, as shown at checkout). The merchant of record acts as the reseller of the service to you and handles tax and invoicing, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Your card details go to it and are never stored on our servers; we receive the order result and the payment record it returns. Prices are shown before checkout, and any applicable taxes are added at checkout.

If you are charged twice for the same song, we refund the second payment in full.

Delivery

After payment, your order page shows the time your full song will be ready, and we email you a receipt. The full song is delivered within 60 minutes of payment; we email you when it is ready. While you wait, you can set up the gift page.

If something goes wrong and your song will not be ready on time, we tell you on the order page and by email, with a new time. If that makes you miss the date you gave us for the occasion, the on-time promise in the refund policy applies.

Paid songs are not deleted. Your song page and the MP3 download stay available for as long as we operate the service, unless the order is refunded.

Changes after you order

Once your full song is delivered:

• 2 full re-records. You can change the lyrics, the style or the voice. A re-record makes a new recording of the whole song, so the melody may change. Every version is kept, and you choose which one goes on the gift page. If a re-record fails, it does not count.
• Name and pronunciation fixes are free and do not use a re-record. To keep the service stable, you can request up to 5 name fixes per order in any 24-hour period.
• If something still isn't right after that, write to us and a person will help.

Gift pages and delivery to the recipient

Every paid song has a private gift page. You can add a note of up to 500 characters and a photo, then choose how the person gets it:

• Share it now — copy the link or send it by text, email or any app.
• Schedule it — we email the gift to up to 3 addresses at the date, time and time zone you choose. The email comes from your name "via PersonalizedSong". You can change, cancel or send it right away at any time before it is sent.
• Keep a private link — keep the link and choose your own moment.

The gift page shows your note, your photo, the song and the lyrics, signed with the name you gave us. It does not show prices, your email address or any advertising before the song has played. The recipient can send you a short reply, and we tell you when they first open the page.

When you enter a recipient's email address, photo or details about them, you confirm that you are allowed to share them with us for this gift. We use a recipient's email address only to deliver the gift; we never add it to any marketing list.

Gift links are long and random, are not listed in search engines, and do not expire. A gift page stops working if the order is refunded. There is no button to switch a gift link off yet; if you need a gift page taken down, email support@personalizedsong.org and we will do it.

Refunds

The short version; the full policy is on the refund policy page and controls if the two ever differ.

• Free preview first. You hear the preview before you pay, and you pay nothing if you don't buy.
• 30-day guarantee. If you are not happy with your song, tell us within 30 days of payment. We first try to make it right with your re-records, name fixes or our help; if we can't, we refund you in full.
• On time, or your money back. If the full song is not delivered within the 60 minutes we promised and you miss the date you gave us, you get a full refund.
• Charged twice. We refund the second payment in full.
• Statutory rights. If consumer law where you live gives you a right of withdrawal, nothing here limits it.

To ask for a refund, use Need help? on your order page, or email support@personalizedsong.org from the address you ordered with and include the order number from your receipt.

Content rules and moderation

The text you write — the story, lyrics edits, gift notes and replies — is checked against our blocked-terms list and by an automated content-safety check, and gift photos are checked before they are saved. The full rules and how the checks work are in our Acceptable Use & Content Policy, which forms part of these terms.

You may not create, or attempt to create, content that is NSFW, sexual or sexually suggestive, that sexualises or endangers minors, that promotes hate or extremism, that facilitates harm, that impersonates a real person for fraud or harassment, or that copies someone else's lyrics, songs or other works. You may not use gift pages or scheduled delivery to harass anyone or to send unwanted email. You agree not to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with the service. We may reject text, remove content, and close orders or accounts that break these rules.

Rules for using output

These rules apply to every song and set of lyrics you make or download here, and they continue to apply after you download a file. They are an enforceable part of these terms:

• Personal use. Songs are made to be given and shared personally: you may play them, give them, keep them, and share them with friends, family and on your personal social media. You may not sell them, distribute them through music streaming services, or use them in advertising or other commercial work without our written permission.
• No training other AI models. You must not use PersonalizedSong, or any song, output or result from it, to train, fine-tune or otherwise improve any other AI model.
• Lawful, acceptable use. You must use PersonalizedSong and its output in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including trade compliance laws, and with our Acceptable Use & Content Policy.
• Say that it is AI-generated. Songs from PersonalizedSong are machine-generated. When you place one in a public context on its own — for example a public post or a video — say that it is AI-generated, and do not present it as performed or written by a person.

Trademarks

Names of artists, platforms and other brands mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners. PersonalizedSong is not affiliated with any of them.

What you make

• Your words stay yours. The story, notes and lyric edits you write remain yours. You give us a licence to store, process and play them back so that we can make and deliver your song.
• Your song. Subject to these terms, including the rules for using output above, you may use your song for the personal purposes described there, for as long as you like. Songs are private unless you share them.
• No exclusivity. AI models can produce similar music for different people. We do not promise that your song is unique, and we cannot give you rights in material that someone else already owns.

Intellectual property

The site, the software behind it, the PersonalizedSong name and brand, and the content we publish are ours, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

Ending things

We may close an order or block an email address that breaks these terms. You can stop using PersonalizedSong at any time, and you can ask us to delete your data as described in the privacy policy.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. AI-generated output may be imperfect, be unoriginal or be unsuitable for your purpose, and we do not warrant that it will be otherwise. This does not limit the guarantee and the on-time promise in the refund policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the service, including any action another platform takes on content you publish there.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@personalizedsong.org and try to resolve the dispute informally first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, announced through the service. A change never applies retroactively to a purchase you already made.
